Assistant to the Director of Sport / Sports Administration Officer
The College is seeking an experienced, capable and enthusiastic person for the position of Assistant to the Director of Sport / Sports Administration Officer. This position works under the leadership of the Director of Sport to provide operational support to the Director of Sport and for the wider department. The position will also support the administration of the Rowing (summer) program.
The primary objective of the Assistant to the Director of Sport / Sports Administration Officer is to support the Director of Sport and the sports office in the efficient operation of all sporting programs.
Responsibilities:
- General administrative duties
- Finance, budgets and resource management
- Communication and stakeholder engagement
- Event coordination and management
- Support for Sport Directors
- Risk assessment, health and safety compliance
Mandatory Requirements
- Previous experience in sports administration, event coordination or a related role within an educational or sports environment
- Current Emergency Aid and CPR Qualifications
- Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver licence
- A valid Queensland Working with Children Blue Card
