General Event Labourer (Operations)
The College has a full time continuing vacancy for a General Event Labourer - commencement date is negotiable for the right applicant. The General Event Labourer (Operations) works within the Property and Services team to ensure timely and accurate set ups for College events and activities, from both internal and external hire requests. The key requirements of this hands-on position are physical capability to lift heavy items, up to 25kgs, and work as part of a team or independently.
Mandatory Requirements
- Manual drivers licence.
- Obtaining and maintaining a Blue Card prior to commencement of employment. Employment at the College is subject to Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian legislation.
- Pass a pre-start ‘Fitness for Work Assessment’.
Desired requirements
- Valid forklift operator licence (or training will be provided to the right candidate).
Employment Conditions
- This position is a Full Time permanent role, 7am - 3:15pm, Monday - Friday.
- Some extended hours or weekend shifts might be required (overtime/penalty rates will apply)
- Full PPE will be provided.
- The successful candidate must hold a valid Working with Children Blue Card before they start.
