Bush Bursary
A total of five Bush Bursaries will be awarded in either Years 7, 8, 9 or 10.
Applications have closed for 2025. Applications for 2026 will re-open in Term 4.

As one of Australia's leading boarding schools for over 130 years, Nudgee College has a rich history and strong connections of being the home away from home for boys from the bush.
The Bush Bursary will be offered to exceptional students who live regionally, more than 200km away from Nudgee College, and whose family is unable to consider Nudgee College for financial reasons.

- Entering Year 7, 8, 9 or 10 boarding student
- Student lives regionally
- Residential address is more than 200 kilometres away from Nudgee College
- Unable to consider boarding at Nudgee College due to financial reasons
- Enthusiastic about attending boarding school
- Overall academic performance and future potential evidence based on school reports
- Diligence and application in academic studies
- Achievement and involvement in other areas of excellence such as performing arts, visual arts, sport, music, debating and other relevant areas
- A demonstrated sense of community
- Leadership capacity
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
